I’m not a fan of cloyingly sweet ham glazes—this one leans more savory with just enough sweetness to balance it out. It’s flavorful without being overpowering and pairs perfectly with the salty richness of the ham. Leftovers also make an excellent ham salad; you can find that recipe on the blog as well.

Baked Ham with Glaze & Pan Sauce

Notes

Optional Slow Cooker–Only Method (No Oven)

If you want to skip the oven:

  • Brush glaze over the ham during the last 30 minutes of slow cooking.
  • Leave the lid slightly ajar to help the glaze tighten (it won’t fully caramelize but will still taste great).
